Australian Music Education Board Centenary
In 2018 the AMEB undertook an exciting project to celebrate their Centenary year – The AMEB Online Orchestra.

1900 musicians from all over Australia took part in the AMEB Online Orchestra experience and the culmination of their incredible efforts is in the video below.

Waltzing Matilda, Music adapted by Christina MacPherson (1864–1936) from Thou bonnie wood o’ Craigielea by James Barr (1779–1860) Words by Andrew Barton ‘Banjo’ Paterson (1864–1941) Arranged for AMEB Online Orchestra by Steven Hodgson and David Howell

We don't often hear bush musicians playing in strict time but Allen's metronome kept them in exact time with all the other participants across Australia.

Members - Helen Romeo & Sharyn Mattern - concertinas, Beck Richmond - concertina & fiddle,
Jenny Bolliger - fiddle, Samantha O'Brien - flute, Tony Romeo - guitar & conducting, Chris Poleson - banjo, Emily - ukulele.
