BMC's Artists - Raema Grieve 1970s

Raema Grieve was born and grew up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. She studied Graphic Design and Lettering at Randwick Technical College, and Fine Art, Drawing and Painting at the Julian Ashton Art School and the Royal Art Society, Sydney. Raema worked as a trainee survey draftsperson at the NSW Land Titles Department and The Sydney Morning Herald.

She joined the Bush Music Club with her husband Ray in 1977 and contributed artwork for their publications, the Mulga Wire Magazine, posters and flyers. She has also contributed calligraphy and illustrations for a number of books, magazines and record covers. Raema now resides in Canberra and is focusing on calligraphy.
