Attendees included an ex-member who was around when the club was formed, a member who joined at the same time as Duke Tritton, 2 others who joined in the very early 1960s, & a Folk Federation member who was around in her younger days.
Chrissie Shaw was aged 10 when her parents Rod & Fran Shaw attended the inaugural meeting on 14th November 1954, Frank Maher had been attending meetings for about a year before signing up as a member on 25th November 1956, English migrant Anne Maher (nee Banks) joined 8th August 1961, & Dale Dengate (nee Morgan) joined 12th October 1962. Bridget Wardlaw's family lived near, and were great friends with, the Shaw family at Narrabeen. They also knew Pam and Brian Loughlin from Victoria around 1949 – 50, involved in Aboriginal Rights and the Communist Party. They were friends with John Meredith, and attended some BMC events around 1960 – 67.
