Festival Reports - Saplings & Tunes Session, Sunday - Illawarra Folk Festival 2026
Thanks to Ralph Pride, BMC's publishing expert, the booklet of winners from 2014 to 2020 was updated with the winners of the 3 competitions held since the Festival resumed
Alas, the heavy rain seemed to have affected our Cup entries & audience - only 4 entries and the room was not full, but everyone had a wonderful time & of course, the standard was high (as always!)
Kerith Power opened the session with a song she & Dale had written. The song was about Barnaby, an excellent topic.
First prize went to Nick Rheinberger for Pauline, Nick was accompanied by his daughter Eva
