The Gathering 2025
The long tradition of Gatherings at Goulburn on the Long Weekend of October continues in 2025 with The Bush Music Club now behind the event.

Read on for an exciting long weekend of song, music, poetry, yarning, and more.

Held in the polished wood elegance of The Goulburn Club in Market Street, Goulburn, with its verandah overlooking the beautiful Belmore Park. There are rooms for planned events and niches for informal sessions as well as a licensed bar to assuage thirsts.

The underpinning principle of the event is participation so bring instruments and voices and stories and poems to add to the mix. Accommodation in Goulburn is plentiful, including 2 caravan parks, but with the Lilac Festival also on, you are advised to book early. There is very limited accommodation at the Club also.

Tickets are limited in number in keeping with the size of the facilities. They are available online and at the door and are moderately priced to cover the minimal costs of the weekend. Advanced bookings are much preferred as this helps with accurately planning catering. Concession price is available to seniors and members of other folk organisations.
