From the Archives - Bill Berry (1934-2019), long time friend of the Bush Music Club

Bill Berry was a significant presence in the early days.  Alex Hood no longer remembers everyone who was at the first meeting, but supplied a list of very early members who might have been there, & Bill is among them.

Jamie Carlin who joined late 1954, & Frank Maher who joined late1955 say Bill never joined BMC, but that didn't stop him attending BMC events.

History of Australian Music from 1960 until 2000 - 40 years of recordings (biographies)

this interesting blog contains a wealth of information

about the author -  Hi my name is Kimbo and I have been an avid fan of Australian music since I was a young boy. I remember watching The Go Show, Kommotion, Uptight and Happening 70 and 71. I decided to do this blog because even though there is other info on aussie artists I found a lot of them weren't mentioned. This blog is not the be all end all. Information on some some artists is non-existent. The same with images. Anyhow enjoy your surf through my blog. If you can provide any extra info or photos please do so
