Rain - no rain - more rain - no rain - scattered showers - in
weather-speak, the day in a nutshell. We were listed on the program for a
60 minute performance, but were introduced 30 mins. early, then asked
to finish at the booked time! Nothing daunts Allen Davis, & Concert
Party had no trouble filling the time, tho a few songs were repeated to
answer requests by audience members. When one of the Light Horsemen said
he lived in Goulburn that was the excuse to sing every song with the
slightest connection to that historic city.
Local Federal Member Anthony Albanese was among the dignitaries present, and as he had inspected the Light Horse party, we asked him to inspect Concert Party.
