Don spent the last 5 years of his working life on Norfolk Island and while there he & Sue immersed themselves in Norfolk Island history, including convict & whaling history. 

Some of their research was presented on their popular Folk History tours, & Don has now recorded the songs written by convicts that they located in diaries and other records of the period, along with other songs about whaling & transportation.
